I personally think

God is incredibly forgiving and loving and wants everyone to be truly happy. I think the things written in the Bible do need to be understood in the light that they were written for a different audience than today’s population. I think all the ideas and rules and such were inspired by compassion and love for God and for one another. I don’t know why I wrote this post, but I felt like it. So there’s that
